Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about SpinKit, the free randomiser studio.

Is SpinKit free?

Yes. Every core tool — spin wheels, slot reels, Spin Sheets and the team picker — is free to use with no account required. SpinKit is supported by unobtrusive ads, and the desktop app is available as an ad-free download.

Is the spin random and fair?

Yes. SpinKit uses genuine random selection for every spin, and the result happens in the open where everyone can see it, so draws are fair and transparent.

Do I need an account to use SpinKit?

No. SpinKit is local-first, so you can use every core feature without signing up. An optional free account only adds cloud sync across devices, sharing and live rooms.

Does SpinKit work offline?

Yes. SpinKit is an installable web app that works offline once loaded, and the Windows desktop app runs fully offline and ad-free. Your wheels and lists are stored on your own device.

Can I save and sync my wheels?

Your wheels, slots, Spin Sheets and teams are saved in your browser by default. With a free account you can sync them to the cloud and pick up where you left off on another device.

What can I make with SpinKit?

Spin wheels for names, raffles and prizes; slot reels for random combinations; Spin Sheets that draw random rows from your own columns, CSV, XLSX or Google Sheets; and balanced random teams from any list.

Can I share a wheel or spin live with other people?

Yes. You can share any preset with a short link, and live rooms let a whole group watch the same spin together in real time, with chat and shared control.

Is my data private?

SpinKit is local-first: your content lives in your own browser and never leaves your device unless you choose to use an account, cloud saves or sharing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is there a mobile or desktop app?

SpinKit installs to your home screen as an app on phones and tablets, and there is a free ad-free Windows desktop download on the home page.
