How does it balance the teams?

It shuffles everyone and distributes them as evenly as possible across the number of teams you choose, spreading any remainder one per team, then lets you adjust by hand.

Can I set team size instead of team count?

Not yet — you choose how many teams you want (1–12), and SpinKit works out even group sizes from your list. If you need a specific size, pick the team count that gets you closest, then drag names to fine-tune.

Can I pick a single winner or captain too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use Pick to draw one random name from the full list — useful for who goes first or a single captain. It does not pick one captain per team automatically.

Can I move people between teams after generating?

Yes. Drag anyone from one team to another to fine-tune the split, or on phones tap a name then tap a team. You can also re-roll the whole thing for a completely fresh set of teams.

Question 5

Are my name lists private?

Yes. Teams lists are stored on your own device and do not sync to the cloud. They only leave your device if you deliberately copy, export or share them yourself.
